SaQus IT Solutions is Awarded Two-year Contract by New York State Comptroller Office

Albany, NY December 1, 2007 - the Office of the New York State Comptroller has awarded SaQus IT Solutions a two-year contract for development services related to the Vendor Responsibility Online System.

SaQus IT Solutions was awarded a contract for $ 246,000 beginning on December 14, 2007 and expiring on December 13, 2009, though a one year contract extension is available.

The Office of the State Comptroller has developed an automated web based Vendor Responsibility System that was implemented in 2007. Additional functionality will be developed, including:

• allowing authorized vendor and state contracting agency users to self-register and obtain a user name and password
• allowing OSC to verify registration information
• allowing vendors to self-report vendor responsibility data via an online standard vendor questionnaire form on the web, including submission of related attachments
• allowing contracting entities and OSC users to access vendor questionnaire data to facilitate their responsibility determination process
• allowing OSC to generate questions dynamically when changes to the standard questionnaire are necessary
• providing various search options and standardized reports
• automating interfaces to provide on-line access to data sources containing vendor responsibility information
• on-line submission of information on the results of agencies’ vendor responsibility review and responsibility determinations
• tracking of vendor responsibility issues
• integration with the State’s central accounting system
