Background
SaQus
IT Solutions was founded
in late 1996 by Matthew V. Carmichael (President) and his
sister Megan M. Carmichael (Corporate Secretary) as a Microsoft
Access application development firm. In early 1997 SaQus
IT Solutions obtained
Power Technologies, Inc. of Schenectady New York as a client.
By the end of 1997 SaQus
IT Solutions began
offering SQL Server and Visual InterDev development. SaQus
IT Solutions began
growing its client base in 1998 and started to establish itself
as the premier Microsoft Access development firm in the Capital
District of New York State. In December of 1998 Kirk Harbinger
(Vice President) joined the SaQus
IT Solutions team
to assist in training end-users and provide application support
to clients. SaQus
IT Solutions became
an AT&T authorized agent in October of 1999 and began
to focus it efforts to Internet and Web Solutions. Now offering
high-speed Internet access and dedicated IP hosting combined
with its team of experienced database developers, SaQus
IT Solutions began
attracting larger clients and projects. In the summer of 2000
SaQus
IT Solutions expanded
its services to include Web-Site Hosting, Web-Site Design,
Break/Fix Services and Network Solutions.
