Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

  • The budget and forecast application allows department managers to enter quarterly financial budgets in an easy to use application. The application extracts data from an enterprise system, creates data subsets for each department so managers can only edit their data, and consolidates all departmental data back into one final dataset to be uploaded to the enterprise system.

  • While creating datasets for individual departments made it easier for end users, it became time consuming for the finance office and budget manager, who preferred not only the departmental view but also a big picture outlook. The result was a user friendly application that provides departments and the finance office with the ability to manage the process.

  • The application provides a more focused approach to record management by displaying the data specific to the departmental user. This eliminates user error and confusion by restricting the data the user can view and edit to only the records that are relevant to them, a feature not offered in the enterprise system.


Hunger Solutions New York

Hunger Solutions New York, established in 1985 as the Nutrition Consortium of New York State, participates and supports federally funded nutrition assistance programs including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program, the Summer Food Service Program, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and the Child and Adult Care Food Program. HSNY also manages the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program. This program provides community-based outreach, education, and one-on-one assistance to help potentially eligible New Yorkers apply for SNAP.

SaQus has provided HSNY with a comprehensive online NOEP Contract Management System with User Dashboards, Reporting Capabilities, Program Submissions and Vouchering.

• Designed and built custom website to provide dynamic information regarding SI Group Oilfields.

• Created context/model diagrams to document business logic and map to database /application objects

• Utilized .asp to create interface between cloud and database Design allowed for multi-language support

• Thoroughly analyzed local versus live sites and documented deltas

KCS Land Research Corporation - Cloud based (SaaS) Order Entry / Document system

• Built an Angular, NodeJS, mySQL, cloud based web application on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The application allows multiple users (at various locations) to record orders and store scanned documents.

• Integrated solutions with multiple APIs including, Qualia, QuickBooks, ChargeBee, and BrainTree.

• Designed application direct to scanner interface to support 1 click scanning and document storage

• Coordinated unit testing, regression testing, end user testing and developed functional testing plans

• Created a variety of functional and technical documents including: business requirements, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), and context diagrams

• Performed fit/gap analysis on legacy systems and cloud applications to identity issues with data mappings and ensure business requirements are met
